Biblical hope is a confident expectation and desire for something good in the future. It desires something and expects it. It is rooted in faith. Faith says to our heart, “God has proven He is worthy of our trust, and He tells us what to expect from.” Having faith in God is having hope in what will come because God assures it. Let this design remind you to hope in Christ for He is the assurance of God’s promises. For the psalmist wrote, “Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation” (Ps. 42:5).
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope” (Rom. 15:13).
