Revelation

Apocalyptic Epistle

Jesus is presented as the Lord of the church, aware of each congregation’s condition. The book predicts an escalation of evil, the rise of the Antichrist’s global rule, and Satan’s wrath against God’s people. God’s judgments on a defiant world intensify until the return of Christ with heaven’s armies, defeating evil and establishing a kingdom of peace. The wicked, Satan, and the Antichrist are condemned to the lake of fire, while Christ’s followers inherit a new heaven and earth.
