Minor Prophets

Jonah, called to prophesy against Nineveh, tries to escape God’s command by heading towards Tarshish. However, God intervenes at sea, leading to Jonah being swallowed by a great fish. After repenting, Jonah is released and proceeds to prophesy in Nineveh. The Assyrians repent, and God spares them, causing Jonah to become upset at God’s mercy towards those he dislikes, leading to a dialogue with God about compassion and mercy.
