Hosea’s mission involves calling Israel to repentance in light of imminent divine judgment for their corruption and idolatry. God commands Hosea to marry an unfaithful woman, symbolizing Israel’s spiritual unfaithfulness. Yet, even in this situation, God’s love persists, seeking to redeem and restore Israel.
