Paul reflects on the foundation of the Thessalonian church, applauding their steadfast faith. He encourages believers to live holy lives and keep their hope in Jesus’ return. Christ’s second coming will involve resurrecting deceased believers and rapturing the living to be with Him eternally. The Day of the Lord, which will bring judgment upon the world, is approaching.
