Resurrection as it Happened, and a Peaceful Pursuit

We are two weeks away from Easter. One thing that has fascinated me is how the Gospels approach the story of the resurrection from different angles and how, when those stories are brought together, they form a more vivid picture of the events and how Jesus’ disciples were shaped. After some research, I put together the sequence of events in an article I hope you will enjoy.

Also, I launched the 7-day devotional email and ebook today. Then, I rounded it off with a downloadable wallpaper to stir our affection toward the resurrected Christ. I hope you enjoy these freebies.

The Disciple Shift

Build a Peaceful Pursuit

This week, we learned about being pursuers of peace. It is the eleventh characteristic in a series of godly qualities from 1 Timothy 3:1-7. The godly man is not only “against quarrels,” but he also “avoids quarrels.” He pursues peace because it reflects the character of God (Rom 15:33), and he is informed by the wisdom of God. Next Tuesday, we turn from controversy to money. Scripture says that we must have a blameless reputation regarding money and the things money can buy. Get caught up on the series so far by visiting the YouTube playlist.

I’ll see you then.

For the Kingdom,
