Easter After Easter, and Managing the Household
I trust that you enjoyed Easter with your family and friends. My wife’s birthday was on the same day, we had a weekend of celebrations. And, we were not done. Today, we gathered with my wife’s family, who celebrates Greek Easter, which usually lands on a different Sunday. But who’s keeping track? Every Sunday is an echo of that first Sunday when Christ arose from the dead (1 Cor. 15:13-15).

In our Godly Man series, we focus on a man’s skill at managing his household. It is the first in Paul’s list of qualifications that takes the form of a complete sentence. The qualifications that came before it were mainly one-word qualities. Moreover, this quality comes with some practical ways to examine ourselves. Paul says that a godly man must “manage his own household well.” Alternatively, you can read it here.
