Christian Resolve, and a Sensible Mind
Years ago, I designed a poster of Jonathan Edwards’ resolutions. (You can purchase one from Missional Wear. Today, it is on sale.) If you look closely at my videos, you can see the poster displayed in my office. They remind me to be resolved for God’s glory.
Now, in the spirit of such, I want to share with you my first three reflections on his resolutions: Resolved for Christ’s Sake, Resolved for God’s Glory, and Resolved for Creative Glory. Also, if you want to deep dive in the life of Edwards, pastor Matthew Everhard have a few insightful videos here. He is an Edwards enthusiast.
Build a Sensible Mind
In my recent video, I discuss the importance of developing a biblical worldview and objective mind. We cannot leave our heads wide open. We have doors in our homes to manage guests. In the same way, we need doors in our minds to manage the flow of information. A godly man builds a sensible mind.
Speaking of which, I’m excited to say that my YouTube channel has exceeded 1000 views within the first two weeks. This means that my watch time is up, as well as my subscribers. My goal is to reach 1000 subscribers and 4000 hours of watch time before the end of the year. Here’s more information about that.
Propel your spiritual growth with this wallpaper design. It is a free download of a graphic to use on your favorite computer and smart devices. Now available for ultrawide monitors.
Next Tuesday in my video series on godliness, I’ll be talking about having self-control, a characteristic I’m calling a Restrained Appetite. It is about moderation and restraint with the enjoyable things of life. Subscribe to my YouTube channel to get updated.
I’ll see you then.
