The gospel according to Mark begins with a clear assertion of Jesus’ identity. He is “the Son of God.” By this he means that Jesus is God. He is the message of the gospel, the Messiah that was promised and anticipated, the one Lord who has come to deliver God’s people from their sins. The following design was created for a sermon series on Mark by Nathan Lino at Northeast Houston Baptist Church. You can listen to the series here.
