Anyone who is honest with his or her life would quickly admit that, despite best efforts, we still fall short of God’s glory. This is why it is so critical to our salvation that God is faithful. First, He is faithful to us when we are not to Him. He keeps His covenants with us when we break them time and time again. Second, He is faithful to Himself. Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, was faithful to the Father in our place. And, He continues to stand in our place before God as our faithful representative. Let this design remind you about the Lord’s eternal faithfulness.
