God makes His people worthy by His grace. Left to ourselves, we cannot approach Him, but through Christ we are cleansed and welcomed into His presence. To pray to be made worthy is to ask God to keep shaping our lives in holiness, humility, and joy so that they reflect His glory. This is the daily work of sanctification — not earning His love, but living in light of it. Reflect on today’s decisions and ask God to conform you to the image of His Son, who makes you worthy of Himself.
We exhorted each one of you and encouraged you and charged you to walk in a manner worthy of God, who calls you into his own kingdom and glory.
