Wallpaper: The Gospel of God

Scriptures: Romans 1:1
by Jacob Abshire on May 12, 2021

It is undeniable that the book of Romans is about “the gospel of God” (Rom. 1:1). In the introduction, Paul lays his cards on the table to show how he’s playing it. He says that the gospel of God is “promised beforehand” (Rom. 1:2), “concerning his Son” (Rom. 1:3), “the gospel of his Son” (Rom. 1:9), and the subject on which he is eager to talk about (Rom. 1:15). Paul was a agent of the gospel. Let this wallpaper remind you about your position in Christ and how you too are called to be an agent of the gospel.

“Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God.”

Romans 1:1
