God is the strength of His people. When our own resolve falters, He supplies the power to endure. He is our purity, constancy, and righteousness, making us stand when we would otherwise fall. To pray for strength is to confess weakness and lean wholly on His might. His strength does not simply carry us through trials — it steadies us, grows us, and displays His glory in our weakness. Reflect on where you feel faint today and take heart that the Lord Himself will be your strength to stand.
For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
