Faith is a gift that God ignites and sustains. Our confidence in Christ does not begin with our own strength but with His grace. The small spark of faith He gives draws us upward to trust Him and take hold of His promises. Even when our faith feels weak, He is faithful to strengthen it and cause it to grow. This prayer asks God to fan that spark into flame, that our lives might burn with love for Him. Reflect on how He has kept your faith alive, even in difficulty.
And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
