Christ is our all-sufficient Savior. When we look to ourselves for strength, we find only weakness, but when we look to Him, we find inexhaustible supply. The prayer for Christ’s fullness is a cry for His strength to replace our frailty and His abundance to fill our emptiness. In Christ we lack nothing — His grace is enough for every need, every trial, and every season of life. Reflect on the areas where you feel empty today and remember that Jesus delights to fill you with Himself.
For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, and you have been filled in him, who is the head of all rule and authority.
