Faith doesn’t arise from within us—it comes from God, through His Word. Scripture is the divine means by which faith is awakened, sustained, and deepened. The Spirit uses the Word to open our ears and hearts to the truth about Christ. That’s why Scripture must be proclaimed, read, and cherished—it brings life. Let this design remind you that saving faith is born and strengthened through hearing the powerful, life-giving Word of God.
So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.
