Scripture: God Spoke with Clarity

by Jacob Abshire on August 23, 2025

The Bible is not a cryptic book locked behind glass. It is the voice of God—clear, near, and alive. From beginning to end, Scripture reveals a God who not only speaks, but speaks to be understood.

This series explores three foundational truths about how we engage the Word. First, we’ll see that the Bible is clear—God speaks plainly, not in riddles. Everything necessary for salvation and godly living is set forth in words that can be understood by all who read with faith and humility. Second, we’ll see that the Bible is accessible—not reserved for scholars or experts, but given to believers in their everyday lives. The Word is not far off. It is in your heart and your mouth. Third, we’ll discover that the Bible is spiritual—and therefore, understanding it requires more than intellect. It requires the help of the Holy Spirit.

Together, these articles remind us that God’s Word is not just true—it’s personal. He doesn’t speak past us. He speaks to us. And when we come with open hearts, we’ll find what we need: light for our path, life for our soul, and truth that changes us from the inside out.
