God is the source of all spiritual strength. Every breath, every grace, and every step of faith comes from His sustaining hand. To confess dependence upon Him is not weakness but wisdom, for apart from Him we can do nothing. Pride urges us toward self-sufficiency, yet the Christian life flourishes through humble reliance on God’s power and provision. This prayer recognizes that all we have and all we need are found in Him alone. Reflect on how often God has upheld you and remember that His strength is sufficient for every moment.
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me.
