We live in an age when truth is questioned and redefined. People speak of “my truth” and “your truth,” as if reality could be personalized. Yet Scripture tells a different story—God has spoken, and His Word is truth (Jn. 17:17). The question for every generation of Christians is whether we will believe, obey, and proclaim that truth with confidence.
This conviction is not optional. If the Bible is not completely true, our faith has no foundation. We cannot know God with certainty, we cannot be sure of salvation, and we cannot stand against the tides of culture. But if the Bible is true—and it is—then we have a solid rock beneath our feet, a trustworthy guide for life, and an anchor for hope.
This three-part series explores what it means to confess that the Bible is true. First, the Bible is a trusted Word, because it comes from the God who cannot lie. Second, the Bible is a true Word, because it stands free from error and incapable of failure. And finally, the Bible is a testified Word, because it is confirmed by the authority of Jesus Himself.
