God protects the weary. David penned Psalm 3:3 while fleeing Absalom, hemmed in by enemies yet held secure by the covenant God, who surrounded him like an unbreakable shield. The Lord Himself was David’s honor and the gentle hand that tilts a downcast chin toward hope. In Christ, that same protecting presence and restoring glory belong to us. Fear must bow where God’s favor rests. Let this design remind you to raise your eyes in trust whenever circumstances press low.
“But you, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head.”
