Taken captive to Babylon as a youth, Daniel and three friends steadfastly adhere to God’s commands, receiving honor and high positions in the Babylonian Empire. Despite facing enemies and life-threatening situations like a fiery furnace and a lions’ den, God protects them. Daniel survives Babylon’s fall and continues his prophetic ministry into the Persian era, with his prophecies foretelling the rise and fall of empires and the advent of the Messiah’s reign.
