The resurrection of Jesus Christ is critical to the Christian faith. We may never know the extent of its importance, but six things that are worth understanding today. The Disciple Shift

Build a Persistent Patience

In my godly character series this week, I focused on the phrase, “not violent,” which relates to being a bully. It is a character flaw that manifests in frustration when not getting your way. This kind of violence is seen in everything from throwing a cell phone for not working correctly to abusing a spouse for disappointing you. The godly person is not violent—not abusive and does not resort to aggression as a persuasive device. Read the article, or watch the video by clicking on the graphic below.

Weekly Wallpaper

To keep the characteristic of persistent patience before you, I’ve designed a wallpaper to fit with your favorite device. It is free for you to download.

Next Tuesday, we will continue the theme of patience and look at the quality of being peaceful. The Bible tells us to be “not quarrelsome” (1 Tim. 3:3). Get caught up on the series so far by visiting the YouTube playlist.

I’ll see you then.
