Wednesday Wallpaper: Best Use of the Time

Scriptures: Genesis 5:15-16
by Jacob Abshire on March 15, 2017

In Ephesians 5, Paul begins with this sobering command to the church, “Be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God” (Eph. 5:1-2). God intends for us to walk in a way that honors Him, loving Him and others more than ourselves. We honor the Lord by carefully and intentionally redeeming the time—making the best use of each moment. Time passes by and waits for no one. Use it for God’s glory while it is here. Let this design remind you to make every moment count for the Lord, honoring Him in everything you do.

“Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.”

Ephesians 5:15-16
