Wallpaper: Enter His Gates, Giving Thanks

Scriptures: Psalms 100:4
by Jacob Abshire on November 17, 2023

In the famous Psalm of Thanksgiving, the psalmist invites God’s people to summon the sinners to sing the song of salvation by giving thanks through worship. The psalmist is imaginative in Psalm 100:4, thinking about the gates at the entrances of Jerusalem. Jerusalem had walls to keep adversaries out and protect God’s people inside. The summon to enter these gates is a command to come with a heart of gratitude and worship. Be reminded that God commands all people to come into His gates prepared to worship with thanksgiving.

“Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name!”
