Wallpaper: A Heart of Thanksgiving

Scriptures: Psalms 100:1-5
by Jacob Abshire on November 15, 2023

Gratitude comes from the heart. Psalm 100 teaches us that a heart of thanksgiving is rooted in recognizing and celebrating God’s character, His works, and our relationship with Him. It’s about approaching God with joyful reverence, acknowledging His lordship, and being grateful for His unending love and faithfulness. This attitude of gratitude not only honors God but also enriches our spiritual life, fostering a deeper connection with Him. Be reminded to cultivate a heart of thanksgiving as a part of your daily walk of faith.

Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth!
Serve the Lord with gladness!
Come into his presence with singing!

Know that the Lord, he is God!
It is he who made us, and we are his;
We are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving,
And his course with praise!
Give thanks to him; bless his name!

For the Lord is good;
His steadfast love endures forever,
And his faithfulness to all generations.
